The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED course provides knowledge and skills that may help save a life. The skills you learn will help you recognise cardiac arrest, get emergency care quickly and help the person until advanced care arrives.
Who should take this course?
Anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for work or regulatory requirements, or who wants to be prepared for an emergency anywhere.
The course covers
- Adult CPR and AED use.
- Adult choking.
- Child CPR, AED use and child choking.
- Infant CPR and infant choking.
Delivery
Instructor-led: group hands-on training with feedback from an AHA instructor, at your company site or a training centre.
Blended learning: an online part plus a hands-on part practised and tested in person with a certified instructor.
